Identification & History
This is a Mid-Century Modern "Atomic Starburst" liquor decanter bottle, manufactured by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in the late 1960s (most commonly distributed in 1968).
These decorative pressed-glass decanters were originally produced as promotional holiday gift bottles for Hiram Walker & Sons (specifically for Walker's Bourbon). Once empty, they were highly popular for repurposing as permanent home bar carafes.
